Monitoring is a great way to receive the most up to date information on your clients if their PEP, Sanctions, Adverse Media etc. status changes. Our Monitoring information updates daily. We highly recommend adding your clients to this tab so if anything changes you can make an informed decision quickly.
You can add a Client to ‘Monitor’ either:
- Directly from the ‘Monitor’ module.
- Individual.
- Bulk import.
- From ‘Screen’.
- From ‘Search’.
Adding Client directly from the ‘Monitor’ module:
- Go to ‘Monitor’ in the Themis Search Platform.
- Click ‘Add Client’.
- Select if you want to Monitor a individual or company.
- Add the individual/company name as a required field and any further optional information to narrow the search.
- Click ‘Add Client’ to begin the search. This will add the client to the Monitor section but you will need to find the relevant match.
- Click on the client in the list.
- Select ‘Quick Match’ on the profile on the right hand side.
- Review the ‘Matched Profiles’ to confirm the correct match.
- Click ‘Preview Details’ to open the profile.
- Click on the relevant individual to confirm the match and add to Monitoring.
- The system will automatically create an alert for the Client, once you have acknowledged this you can close it so it doesn’t continue to notify you in your Monitoring report.
- When an alert is opened, the system automatically records and populates the date of this occurrence. And you can sort the list of clients in monitoring by the date the alert was opened.
Add a Client from ‘Screen’
- Follow the instructions to ‘Screen’ a client here.
- Once in the ‘Screen’ main homepage, click on the profile you are wanting to add to ‘Monitor’ or search for them if they are a historic record.
- On the Clients profile on the right hand side, click ‘Move to Monitoring’.
- Add any additional information you would like to confirm & then click ‘Move to Monitoring’.
- The Client will now appear in the ‘Monitor’ module.
- The system will automatically create an alert for the Client, once you have acknowledged this you can close it so it doesn’t continue to notify you in your Monitoring report.
- When an alert is opened, the system automatically records and populates the date of this occurrence. And you can sort the list of clients in monitoring by the date the alert was opened.

- Follow the instructions to ‘Search’ a Client here.
- Click ‘Move to Monitoring’ on the left hand side of the screen.
- The Client will now appear in the ‘Monitor’ module.
